Greetings and Welcome,
Fix America Now Foundation, otherwise known as “FANdation” is a non-profit organization legally registered and operated in Los Angeles, CA.
With our extensive training and knowledge in the Performing Arts, we wanted to put it to good use and keep art alive in our schools. But also, similar to our inspirations, “Oprah’s Angel Network” and “Make-A-Wish Foundation,” we want to be a part of an organization that is expansive with its aid. Not only are we profoundly involved with our active duty service men and woman, but it is our goal to build stronger, safer schools and keep art alive and well. Through our research, we were only able to find organizations geared toward one specific venue that already have established teams, that’s when we came together to create our own.
Year round projects will include:
Project: “Protect Our Schools” As part of our big picture we will do everything in our power to readily prepare American schools for possible future gunman attacks. We will do so by performing mock school shootings and drills, donating metal detectors, and creating safety regulations that will help protect our schools.
Project: “Art is Alive” Where we will donate new pianos, instruments, or even cameras and boom mics to help develop morning news crew teams for schools. We will also donate the funds to put up full-scaled productions as well as offer directing and coaching to put on performances for their community and raise money for their own art programs.
Project: “No Man Left Behind” We know of the thousands of active duty soldiers who simply can’t afford to be with their families for the holidays and special occasions, and we want to help change that. Starting November 27, 2015 we will transport and host a few of our uniformed men and woman and provide them with a warm, catered, Thanksgiving meal in Los Angeles. Available at our host location, we will provide Skype/FaceTime booths where they will be able to contact their loved ones. We will even fly a select few home for a surprise visit with their families.
